Women's History Month - Who Inspires You?

Hey gang - it’s that time of the year again. Women’s History Month! Woohoo! Thinking about how far women have come and all of the accomplishments we have made...well, I think that’s a pretty darn good reason to celebrate.

Being this time of the year, I’ve been doing some reflecting on women who have made a difference in my life and inspired me to push for success. I have had many mentors, but one that always sticks out in my mind is Leona May Lipke, my dance teacher from when I was as young as four years old. Now I was definitely a different kind of dancer - but she saw something in me and pushed me to work hard and go for greatness - and guess what? I got a scholarship to pursue dance in college. She was such a shining light to me.

What about you? Is there a woman in your life who has inspired you and mentored you? Wouldn’t it be so awesome if you could highlight her this women's history month and let her know what an impact she has made in your life? Let’s do it! Film a video, write a little shout out, send pictures - whatever you want. I will share them on my page and then at the end of March I will pick three inspiring ladies and send them a book in your name. Sounds fun right? I can’t wait to hear all your stories.

Much joy.
