The Secret to Sticking With Your Resolutions This Year

Hey gang - you know what time it is? New Year’s Resolution time. Yea baby! This year I don’t want you to be one of the statistics. I want you to go straight to the finish line and by this time next year, be patting yourself on the back for a job well done. Whether your resolution is to lose weight, workout more, be less stressed or just to be nicer to your fellow man, I’m here to help. Small changes are the key to the big picture. If you want to lose weight, make it a daily responsibility to get up 10 minutes earlier and dance around your house or take a long walk after dinner. Make it as important as brushing your teeth! If you have a pact with yourself, you’ll do it. Write up a contract if you have to! The key is to not sweat  the small stuff and to not get frustrated. Nobody is perfect and nobody's New Years Resolution journey will be perfect either.

I’m all about finding doable ways to get healthier for busy people - so I even got my assistant to make a pledge for her New Year’s Resolution (check out the video). There are so many simple ideas and equipment to make it easier too - from a pilates ring to use at home to an exercise ball to sit on at work. It’s the small changes that make the greatest differences long term. And guess what? I know you’ve all heard this from me countless times...it only takes 1-3 minutes a day! Find out what is doable for YOU in those few minutes and do it everyday. You are in charge of your future and you can do whatever you put your head to. Train your head and your body will follow baby!
